Abstract

GPU computing has become a game-changing technology in the field of computer graphics, mainly because of its ability to handle large amounts of data through parallel processing. Real-time rendering, which involves generating images quickly enough to support interactive applications, has greatly improved with the development of advanced GPU architectures. This paper provides a detailed review of how GPU computing supports real-time rendering by explaining its core concepts, architectural strengths, key techniques, and practical applications. It also discusses the challenges faced in this area and explores possible future research directions. Overall, the study shows that modern GPUs, when combined with efficient rendering algorithms, have made it possible to deliver high-quality visual experiences in applications such as gaming, virtual reality, and simulation systems.
