Abstract

The planned system objectives to offer the security of IoT based devices
used in home. For this purpose, integration of image capturing and
processing techniques is made. Matlab has remained used to capture
picture using camera & compare current picture with previous one in
order to find changes. IoT is a keen network of physical devices, buildings,
vehicles, & all other items which are embedded with electronics,
software, sensors, & network connectivity that enable these objects
to collect & exchange data. In proposed work the different parameters
have been considered in order to improve the traditional work such as
Image capturing time, Image comparison Time complexity, and Space
complexity. In this paper the simulation of comparison time of frames,
frame size and queuing delay has been made in Matlab to assure whether
proposed work is working better as compared to traditional. The size of
captured frame sample is reduced in order to save the storage space.
Any suspicious event is traced more quickly using edge detection
mechanism during frame comparison in order to make system fast.
MATLAB and ASP.NET have been used for implementation purpose.
The proposed system is beneficial for banks and financial institutions
because it is secure and cost effective system. The proposed system
would be useful in detecting & avoiding thefts. Research would provide
security at remote location without need of human attention using
image processing.
