https://adrjournalshouse.com/index.php/construction-urban-architecture/article/view/2601

The purpose of this study is to examine problems with digital mass customisation and how it affects connections between generations. People’s expectations regarding how digital technology will improve and affect them, their relationships, their attitudes, their behaviour, and many other aspects are examined through a questionnaire survey. This study’s objectives were to examine how digital technology affects the dynamics and quality of intergenerational relationships, evaluate its effects, pinpoint advantages and disadvantages, comprehend digital literacy, and investigate behavioural shifts. All of us have undergone a significant transformation as a result of our digital involvement, and age is no barrier to this transformation. In reality, people are getting closer online but farther apart offline. Other significant considerations taken into account are privacy concerns and varying expectations in straining relations.
To navigate such complex problems, it is essential to set boundaries for technology use and promote digital literacy.

DoI: https://doi.org/10.24321/2456.9925.202505
Seema Bajaj

https://adrjournalshouse.com/index.php/construction-urban-architecture/article/view/2600

The goal of architectural education, in contrast to other educational establishments, is creativity. The Design Studio is an essential part of architectural education in universities. Since its inception, architectural education has undergone countless revisions and alterations, much like other fields. Regarding the length of time needed to complete the courses, the selection criteria for the courses offered, and the types of practical skills taught, there has always been some ambiguity in many educational systems.
By examining the unique features of different national and international educational systems, the article that follows seeks to provide an efficient model and integrated methodology for teaching architecture, ensuring that architecture students receive instruction that is both effective and meaningful. According to a review of the literature, several universities are changing their pedagogical approaches to provide students with the skills they need to develop their capacity for lifelong learning. Additionally, a strategy to close the gap between the skills currently taught in architecture school and the job market is examined. The literature on the different practical abilities required in the architectural design studio is examined.1
The study concludes with the conclusion that practical model-making skills significantly accelerate the process and offer opportunities to promote creativity, originality, and the ability to think complexly, including design concepts, as well as the acquisition of sharedinformation while attempting to complete a design assignment in a collaborative learning environment.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.24321/2456.9925.202503
Suvarna Amit ShitoleRaminder Kaur
