Abstract

The rapid evolution of nanotechnology has spurred significant advancements in the fabrication of nanodevices, which are integral to various fields, including electronics, medicine, and energy. This review article explores the current methodologies in nanodevice fabrication, focusing on top-down and bottom-up approaches, the materials utilized, and the emerging applications of these devices. Top-down methods, such as lithography and etching, enable precise patterning at the nanoscale, while bottom-up techniques, including self-assembly and chemical vapor deposition, offer scalable solutions for creating complex nanostructures. The choice of materials, including metals, semiconductors, and polymers, plays a crucial role in determining the performance and functionality of nanodevices. Furthermore, the article discusses the challenges faced in the field, such as scalability, material compatibility, and regulatory concerns. By highlighting recent advancements and innovations, this review aims to provide insights into the future directions of nanodevice fabrication, emphasizing the potential for transformative applications across multiple industries.
