This study compares consumer preferences between Smart Bazar and D-Mart in Ahmedabad, focusing on factors like pricing strategies, product variety, promotional offers, store location, customer service, and quality consistency. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire targeting diverse demographic groups. Smart Bazar and D-Mart are popular retail chains in Ahmedabad, with D-Mart known for its affordable pricing and quality, and Smart Bazar for its product variety and promotional offers. Demographic factors like age, income, and shopping mode also influence consumer behaviour. Understanding these factors helps retailers refine strategies and enhance customer satisfaction, contributing to improved competitiveness and market positioning in the Ahmedabad retail sector. Smart Bazar and D-Mart are both popular retail chains, with D-Mart favoured for its cost-effectiveness and consistent quality, while Smart Bazar attracts customers with its extensive product variety and promotional campaigns.
