Abstract

This study explores the role of Instagram as a burgeoning platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in enhancing their promotional strategies. With the rise of social media, Instagram has emerged as a crucial tool for SMEs, providing a cost-effective and wide-reaching medium for engaging with customers. The research draws from a comprehensive analysis of SME activities on Instagram, evaluating the platform’s impact on brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales. Through a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data and qualitative insights, this paper highlights how SMEs can leverage Instagram’s unique features to foster persuasive communication and drive business outcomes. The findings suggest that Instagram not only aids in traditional advertising and publicity but also supports more interactive and personalized forms of customer interaction. The study features the importance of integrating social media strategies into the marketing plans of SMEs to achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
