Abstract

The research examined heavy metals in chicken feeds from Benue metropolis poultry farms. Eight metals were analysed using atomic absorption spectrophotometers. The mean concentrations were below the WHO acceptable limit, indicating that the chicken produced from these feeds are safe for human consumption. The samples were from top feed, hybrid feed, oracle feed, and vita feed, with two from each company.
