There has been heightened concern concerning stress-related challenges which had given rise to operational backwardness within the manufacturing companies in Nigeria, it is in the light of that that this study seeks to establish an empirical link between Job stress and organizational growth with the sole aim of bridging the gap of the discrepancies. The analysis revealed a strong and significant relationship between both variables. The findings revealed that job stress which was operationalized using two dimensions, namely: exhaustion and cynicism significantly influenced outcomes of organizational growth such as job dissatisfaction and intention to quit. This further stressed that; Organization should design their operations in a way that reduces stress to enhance the resilience of their workers and that; Employees’ should manage exhaustion the way it would enhance their wellbeing.
