Abstract

Labour laws are an essential component of industrial governance, ensuring the protection of employees' rights while promoting organizational efficiency and sustainable economic development. In manufacturing industries, strict compliance with labour legislation is necessary to maintain workplace safety, employee welfare, industrial peace, and legal accountability. The automobile component manufacturing sector employs a large workforce and operates in a highly regulated environment, making labour law implementation crucial for improving productivity and employee satisfaction.

The present study examines the effectiveness of labour laws implemented at Renault Keshvin Wheels Pvt. Ltd. The research evaluates employees' awareness of labour legislation, workplace safety measures, welfare facilities, grievance redressal mechanisms, working conditions, social security benefits, and overall employee satisfaction. The study also investigates the relationship between labour law compliance and employee satisfaction using appropriate statistical techniques.

The findings reveal that Renault Keshvin Wheels Pvt. Ltd. has effectively implemented labour laws, resulting in improved workplace safety, enhanced employee morale, better industrial relations, and increased organizational productivity. Most employees expressed satisfaction with welfare measures, statutory benefits, working conditions, and grievance handling procedures. Correlation and regression analyses indicate that labour law implementation has a significant positive influence on employee satisfaction and organizational commitment.

The study concludes that continuous awareness programmes, digital compliance systems, periodic labour audits, and employee participation in safety and welfare committees will further strengthen labour law compliance and contribute to sustainable organizational growth.
