A Study on the Preferences of Local Shoppers for Lakme Products in Hyderabad

In every nation, the consumers make up the greatest economic group and the only reason why businesses are able to function at this point in time is because of the consumers. Therefore, consumers are the most important part of every economy. The consumers are not only the center of the marketing system, but consumer sovereignty has also become a myth as a result of the many problems that arise during the process of merchandising. The study of consumer behavior enables marketer to understand and predict consumer behavior in the market place. Every person has a unique set of senses, including hearing, touch, smell, sight and awareness, that allow them to comprehend the world around them. This study’s objective is to investigate the attitudes and behaviors of consumers with regard to cosmetics, with a particular focus on the offerings from Lakme. To understand a perception of the attitudes and perceptions that consumers have towards Lakme products. According to the vast majority of respondents, the degree of satisfaction with the quality of Lakme products is rather good. In spite of the fact that their costs are quite costly, customers who purchase Lakme products report a high level of contentment owing to the excellent quality and efficiency of such products. As a result, products manufactured by Lakme are performing an essential function in the process of catering to the requirements of consumers. The company has the ability to enhance the design and appearance in order to attract a greater number of consumers. For the purposes of this research, the primary questionnaire of data collection consisted primarily of the distribution of questionnaires, while secondary data was gathered from a variety of secondary sources, including previous project reports obtained from the college library as well as internet journals and books. The participants in the study are the students and faculty members of the educational institution that is located in Hyderabad. In the computations, a straightforward approach to percentage analysis is used. For the aim of conducting a survey, a Google form questionnaire is employed. The study sample consists of input from fifty different respondents.
