Abstract

The rapidly developing digital economy poses a threat to the continued relevance of traditional marketing approaches; thus, the requirements of contemporary businesses call for a comprehensive reimagining of marketing strategies. It is essential to use technology to supplement marketing efforts in order to attract even a small fraction of the potential clients in the world. The marketing of products or services via the use of digital technology, such as the internet, mobile phones, display adverts and any other digital media, is referred to collectively as “digital marketing.” The current environment for marketing involves the execution of a variety of marketing efforts that represent marketing in the early stages of a new age of marketing. The use of electronic gadgets such as digital billboards, tablets and smart phones, gaming consoles and many other devices that assist in digital marketing is becoming increasingly popular as the digital marketing trend continues to expand. The primary ideas behind digital marketing stem from Internet marketing, which is evolving into a dynamic platform for digital marketing. The importance of online marketing is shown by the fact that Flipkart was able to build a specialized market in online stores by using creative digital marketing and compete successfully with traditional stores. The purpose of this case study is to examine how Flipkart.com has used a variety of digital and online marketing methods in order to achieve success and become a major player in the digital marketing field. Digital marketing is going to be at the top of the to-do list for many marketers and it’s possible that these marketers will be looking for novel approaches to market their products or services online, lower their cost per lead, increase their click-through rates and conversion rates and find out what’s trending in digital marketing. The particular difficulties that are related with the new age of marketing, along with some potential suggestions to these difficulties.
